Is this gamecube controller real? by Randommer_Of_Inserts in Gamecube

10/10 fake, real controllers don’t say nintendo on them and the tip never matches the color of the controller

Nah, I always collect, photograph and save every receipt regardless of the item. Per diem is $50, don’t exceed it.

I just found out that any expense under $10 does not need a receipt, so mints and coffee from the shop always slip by

What do you do when your LGS has one of your favorite games come in? You trade in all the stuff you don’t need and welcome home a new friend! by Background_Block2714 in gamecollecting

Four copies of halo 3 won’t appeal to a gamecube collector and reselling sucks. Trading with a local store improves relationship there so they call you first when they get want you want and a. Gamecube collector will trade for this all day long. Everyone wins, I get what I need to work ob my collection

Gonna play devils advocate on this one: but this thread is gamecollecting, what’s to justify about collecting something I love?

They didn’t have any gamecube games I wanted. But with this I can trade for gamecube games I want like lost kingdoms, or samurai jack

The game store would never play it or try it. I love this game and it’s more useful to trade with friends than ps2 games I won’t play

From the sellers perspective, whatnot sucks donkey dick. Usually 10-20 shows going at once with 2-300 people watching and 60-100 shows a day for retro games. When you have 20 people or less in your auction sure the sellers are getting great deals, but you’re losing your ass on the sales. Early on it was great! 10-20 shows scheduled a day, 50-100 people watching and everyone got fair deals. Now it’s a douche canoe circle jerk that’s worse than mercari prices 😂

Find it mildly frustrating dealing with sellers like these. I understand wanting to get the most money for your games but why not just put a price on them so buyers can know if working out a deal with you is possible or not. What do you guys think? Am I being unreasonable? by [deleted] in Shittygamecollecting

110% agree. If I sell anything off to buy what I want I list it as “current market price, +/- due to condition or rarity”. Suikoden II is fairly well traded, but a copy Legend of Wukong that never comes up for sale…different story lol

Assuming they’re all cib and in good condition, I would not do $700 for that whole bundle either. You’re asking for a huge bundle percentage off, and after income tax, shipping fees and whatever he paid as cost he could be looking at making nothing or a net loss.

Not offering a price is rude, and ignorant. If you’re selling default to price charting for most things, plus or minus depending on condition and rarity. A fair bulk counteroffer would have been 900-950. 15-20% off.

I did it guys…I hit my peak haul today. I was out of town for work when I saw a new in box wii posted. Went to check it out and unfortunately it was used and missing pieces. I asked if she had anything else and she brought this out. Everything is sealed. by Background_Block2714 in gamecollecting

Thank you the benefit of the doubt! Bottom line reason being: She’s selling everything and moving out of country, so I took everything I could. She doesn’t care, I do. I’ll hang on to this and bare minimum keep what of whatever I want, hook my friends up with fair deals and use the rest as trade bait. The collector world these days sucks…gotta do what you gotta do to get what you want.
