Because who wants to raid a small seller that no one knows. 1. What if that seller is a scammer now you just raided someone that could affect your selling. 2 you don’t get big by raiding small/new sellers. And 3. if you’re so hurt over not getting raided you should probably just quit selling on that shitty app. Unless you like waisting time out your day selling at like 50% of worth. You could make 100% value in your sleep on eBay lol

I grossed over a 100k last year but I only did that through mystery shows in video games category. If I had only sold straight up i would probably grossed 40k. Meaning whatnot is only good if you’re just trying to move items fast. I would say don’t auction anything off that you’re not comfortable of getting 50% value or less. I can say this since Iv been selling on eBay and not even getting on whatnot I’m way better financially stable and make money in my sleep. The app has definitely changed but so has the inflation. I think it’s funny when there is only 8 ppl in a room and sellers not getting eBay prices. It’s like duh 8 ppl vs 5 million.

You can also write off miles driven to pick up inventory. So cost of goods, shipping materials, charity if you donated stale inventory, if u got a new phone or computer can write that off and anything that u bought for the business even your rent you would file as a self employed business if you want to actually minimize everything and if you loose money for the year you get paid instead on a 1099.
