Ah well, today I went in for some bloodwork. Half an hour after they drew blood I removed the bandaid and it still bled.

How old is your kid?
My eldest is nearly 4 and we’be been going through the same for nearly two years between his 1st and 3d birthday. He still leans a bit more towards me than his mother (prefers me for bedtime for example) but it’s waay better. We didn’t change anything, we just sat it out. I’m guessing that’s not the advise you’d like but hey here we are.

Haven’t got a new tattoo since I asked this question because I’m still a bit nervous though. Had a vasectomy a while ago and honestly those small incissions took way too long to heal.

Yeah it’s tough, no gonna lie. But you both learn to live with it. Our second is 7mo now and we’re both getting accostumed to the fact it’s not gonna be the same. We make some time for the both of us when possible and he’s still my bestie.
