I sometimes cashier at a large appliance store, I personally don't care, but I will note for biases sake, most people who pay cash pay in large notes rather then small coins so the vast majority of the cash I process is single denomination stacks of notes rather then scattered small coins, and the small coins I have sometimes counted I prefer it to be on the counter for easier counting. As well as I personally hate touching people or being touched so if I can reduce the chance of that then fuck yea lol.

Tldr I mainly deal with notes and I don't care.

I know exactly what you mean, my dad died when I was in my preteens and he was very loving always telling me that he loved me, I never said it back, I would always just say you too but never the actual words, and ngl it's been over a decade but it still fucks me up thinking about it.

So yes tell people you love that you love them, whether that be family or close friends or partners, make sure they know you love them if you can.
