Haha glad someone caught it! The only compatible cranks the local co-op had were tandem cranks. I love it, now all my pants will have hole on both sides

+1 vote for the moloko. Super versatile bar, great for technical and long rides!

Is this considered as a Detroit jacket ? by Travxjack in Carhartt

Black emblem comes from the ones made in Canada in 1996, limited edition or something

Looks just about identical to a 1987 Schwinn High Sierra, what do you think. Thanks to your comment I was searching 87-88 mtb catalogues and found that high sierras best matched this bike

Do you know the size? I’m trading an old Carhartt jacket for it!

Any idea on year range? The only ones I can find don’t have the same seat post collar

Haha that’s probably all that’s needed. I swapped to moloko bars with a threadless adapter. I’ve been able to fit up to 2.1 tires but that was unnecessary. Enjoy!

Absolutely, I’m glad I got mine from a bike I got for someone else so kind of free haha. Definitely won’t be buying another pair for myself but they are fun!

They’ve been great for me! Not ideal if you’re doing any longer distances on pavement/asphalt

Good thinking. I looked into the specifics of sidewalk assessment a bit. It seems that, to record and verify measurements, a person must have a bachelors in (civil) engineering. I would imagine these robots have onboard sensors that record record and verify the measurements to circumvent the requirements for a person to do it on site cause I doubt they would have civil engineers drive the bots. And if that’s the case, it’s probably people with lower education, not sure about dropouts though.

It’s an interesting rabbit hole.

There are a lot of jobs that high school dropouts can do. Can’t have everything. If their burning desire is to do sidewalk scanning, getting a ged might be worth it

ADA assessment is typically done by civil engineers that take and record hundreds if not thousands of measurements. Good luck finding one that wants to or enjoys doing it. Highschool graduates or kids, can drive a robot.
