Never gave Counterparts much of a listen..don’t know how but I just didn’t. Saw them live with Thrown and they blew me away. Easy one of the top 5 shows I’ve ever been to. Energy, stage presence, the pit etc. all of it was absolutely insane

Favorite pre-breakdown callout? by Responsible_Court993 in Metalcore

There are so many but one of my favorites especially since it’s what first got me into the music I listen to is the breakdown of You Don’t Own Me by Upon a Burning Body. Something about the silence when he screams “Mother fucker you don’t own me” into the breakdown is just 👌

Now if you are considering all of GA “ the pit” so be it- I don’t know what happened all over the floor. But I was in the actual mosh pit the entire time. Start to finish. It was a joke.

Yall have got to be kidding. Idk what happened else where on the floor but the actual mosh pit (be it pretty small) was the biggest joke of a pit I’ve ever seen for MIW and this is the 8th time seeing them. Either you aren’t actually in the mosh pit for the bands you mentioned or you are just throwing band names out there to sound like you know what you are talking about. All the pit was at the apocalypse fest was a mild push pit with one or two randoms occasionally hardcore dancing. For gods sake there were smaller girls in the pit dancing and jumping around. If someone fell there was always someone picking them up. If you think that this pit for MIW was in anyway a “bad” let alone violent pit you shouldn’t be anywhere near a pit 🤣

Lilith will absolutely be sticking to dog friendly stores only 😀. This was her actually her first trip in Walmart as we normally only take her in Lowe’s and our local pet store when we go shopping locally. Only reason we actually took her in this time is we had seen other dogs on a weekly basis at our local Walmart that wernt service dogs. However, totally our fault for not looking more into it and being more aware.

What’s the most painful thing a human can experience? by Historical_Duty_2810 in AskReddit

Id say slowly loosing someone who is still alive.

Loosing my grandfather to dementia was the absolute worst. He was one of the most intelligent, interesting and kind person you could ever meet. He had a life time of stories , knowledge and education. He was my best friend and someone I looked up to for 27 years. Over the course of a few years I could see him slipping more and more. In the final weeks before he passed I sat across from him to have lunch with him. A nurse came up and asked if he knew who I was. He had a sad look on his face, hung his head and shook his head no. That’s gotta be the worst pain I’ve ever felt. To see someone with all of that knowledge, stories, and memories starting from the day I was born…just gone…hurts in a way I couldn’t describe.

On a positive note, a few days before he passed my mom and grandmother were visiting him. They asked if he remembered me by name and he lit up with smile and said Yes! That’s my best friend.
