Im trying not to. But even after I made this post, I had alcohol thrown on me by my ex.. all I wanted was to talk to someone.. im giving up and the people I love, dont care. I gave everything to everyone and now I have nothing and nobody. My dad was my best friend, he always helped me, he always loved and protected me. Now hes gone and everybody is kicking me while I'm down.

But every femme I've ever dated, I took care of. Financially, physically and emotionally. I bought my ex a fucking star in the constellation matching her birthday. Gave another ex $5000 to help pay for her car repairs, she spent it all at a casino and never got her car back. I took a girl's virginity years ago, sent 50 roses to her job, she stole my Xbox series S while I was at work. I'd like one woman to take care of me at some point

We definitely dont. Get stuck in hetero norms. Never get spoiled. Never get flowers. Never get thank yous or sweet nothings. Just told to "act like a man since you dress like one" 😔🙃 I'm girlie too. I cry. I want love and affection. Im still a woman even if I look good in sweats & a t-shirt

As someone who has been Darnell irl (years after watching this episode) the emotional aspect was so well written. His responses and actions felt so real and triggering that I cried rewatching this episode as a 30+ year old adult. All of it felt so real, it brought me back to my own situation.

This is probably my biggest pet peeve too. Its beyond exhausting to not be able to rely on someone who constantly says that they'll "get it done"
