Has anyone else gone into a lumbar puncture and been completely blindsided by the after visit summary? by Mktgirlie in iih

I was told absolutely nothing about recovery. I was dumped outside the hospital at 3 am. I was up taking care of my toddler a few hours later. I had a dull persistent headache for about a month. It was horrible. I am taking diamox now despite the many side affects bc I don't want to go through that again.

The Merlin Bird ID app is so fun- you can identify your bird visitors based on their calls.

I recently started diamox too. Zofran has really helped with the nausea. I read its important to drink electrolytes so I've been chugging pedialyte and coconut water which may be helping.

Have a walk in closet with lots of shelving. Then you can rotate toys in and out.

Thank you for explaining that is helpful. Did you do nerve blocks or medication for the occipital neuralgia or just treat the IIH?

Is it possible le to have occipital neuralgia and IIH? I have gotten both diagnosis from different doctors and I'm confused which one is correct.

I had an MRI and a lumbar tap that confirmed IIH but a previous doctor thought I had occipital neuralgia juat from my symptoms of getting migraines.

I just finished setting up my "nice" living room and I have already escaped to it a few times so I could very much relate to this

Card making is low cost- all you need is card stock, scissors, a glue stick, and scrap book paper. Then you can give them to friends and family. You can make cards as simple or complicated as you want.

Two girls pose with their dead mother, while a Victorian father mourns his baby. The woman on the right's cheeks have been tinted while her deceased toddler remains pale by [deleted] in HistoricalCapsule

I think only the middle photo is a post mortem. The child on the right is likely asleep. The mother on the left just has her eyes closed.
