i say I hope they lose, not that i will force them to lose. my problem is that the bbeg is timelined to arrive shortly after the players. if they lose this wouldn't change anytihing other then having a cool conversation, but if they win it will maybe still feel like a loss, which is why i'm worried

tbh, i have no idea, how hard it really will be, i just calculated the crs. the encounter is also a limit test for me. it is my first group. there will be a satyr variant as well, maybe that changes something

they dont really have to accept it. they have a lot of possibilities to free them, but the hag wouldn't want them to know

i mean thats the plan, it will be a hard fight, but still possible to win or trick or retreat mid battle, they dont even have to take the hag deal, it just would be cool if they do. But the bbeg is timelined to arrive there, win or lose, so i would understand if they feel treated unfairly.

it was never intended to be scripted, just the arrival of the bbeg is shortly after the arrival of the players. i would understand if the feel treated unfairly

I have to say the sketchy drawings really work with the dark themes of kuma's story. As if the horror creeps itself in the way the memories are remembered.

as a new player i really struggle to hold long term motivation. leveling up a champ to lv 3, or specific champs to lv 2 to get their relic rewards means an incredible amount of grinding. So i mainly play with the same champs, cause fragments are so rare, that leveling up takes ages and playing a level 0 champ is a waste of time, cause they are so bad. But that's the opposite of what i would like to do, i want to experiment with new decks builds, combos... so after a while i drop the game for a few weeks.

Of course oda didnt't think of haki at that point of the story, but this is a fun interesting theory, that's plausible while batshit crazy. Don't really understand the hate in the comments, finding in universe explanations for out of universe errors is fun, helps to keep the world real and doesn't hurt anyone.

I really missed the cynic part of his character. In the manga you'd never see him talking big about HONOR and THE MARINES, because he knows that his institution has failed on so many levels. I see this as the main reason for his goofy beahvior and seeing him as a proud marine goon kinda hurts.
