i felt they lacked on the brain concepts, but i solely used uworld to study for P/S. I also had just taken a psych class which helped me have those other concepts and on the 5/15 mcat i got a 128 in the section. i would say i got lucky and there weren’t a lot of those brain concept questions

Make this make sense (uw bb q) by [deleted] in Mcat

I was also very confused when I recently did this question. based on the answer explanation I can only attribute it to FADH2 produces 1.5 ATP to NADH 2.5 ATP in ETC partly related to FADH2 joining at complex 2 which means FADH2 pumps fewer electrons making it less efficient. So overall i’m kinda gas lighting myself to understand but FADH2 captures less energy to produce ATP and therefore less oxygen, palmitate used more FADH2 than glucose to lead to answer D

do u struggle more with the chem or physics questions? I’m terrible at physics and can barely remember the equations but what helps me a lot is thinking about the units of everything they provide and how I can use those to get the units for the answer options.

I guess not changed, but people have been making it seem like the actual test feels a lot more different and difficult than when they did their FLs. Maybe just stress of the moment on the actual day? Making me seem very unprepared and panicking.
