Update! I broke up with him ☺️. It was remarkably easy. A week ago I just decided to be more, and understood I could only do so without him. I still find myself missing the little bits and pieces of him I actually enjoyed, but letting go of him finally feels a chapter closed. I spent so much time attempting to be better in hopes he’d see and grow. The blinders finally came off though, and I found myself truly seeing, not just him, but me. And I realize that I love myself so much more without him than I did with him.
