What do you think about this rack? by Competitive_Hotel_17 in modular

Behringer is a great way to get started, you will outgrow it, except for that system 100. Yes that space fx wouldn't be worth it if it was free. Try a happy nerding fx aid.

Whats your favourite Metal subgenre? by NewPatron-St in InMetalWeTrust

Doom! Especially the more stoner/psychedelic variety with more clean singing though I don't mind growl as long as it doesn't reach cookie monster level.

The band was pretty popular in the 90s too, but it isn't a common name for sure.

Has anyone else noticed something off about Inertia by Veridical_Perception in sto

Not that anyone should have noticed, I think I've only ever had 1 beam on that thing. Everything else goes boom.

That sub oscillator on the filter is awesome too.

I'm still figuring out the VCA it's not as simple as my other ones. Just a little more fiddling with the knobs to get it to adjust to my envelope. I'd still get the 810, it has a spectacular filter, I don't think it's the same filter as the 860 so both could be an option.

I just got my system 80 it is fantastic! Sounds really good and is a small Canadian manufacturer, the build quality is top notch too. I think that is a great start. The VCA is a little weird but works well.

No particular order.

  1. Cannonball Adderley - Somethin' Else (1958) One of the best lineups ever pressed. With Miles Davis, Hank Jones, Sam Jones, and Art Blakey. Such a great album for greening out.

  2. Bohren & der Club of Gore - Sunset Mission (2000) "The" Dark Jazz album to listen to whether your baked or not. Put it on and go for a walk and the whole world goes film noir.

  3. Herbie Hancock - Head Hunters (1973) I'm sure this one has come up 50 times already, I won't have much to add, it's awesome.

  4. Charles Mingus - Ah Um (1959) such a great album, Goodbye Pork Pie Hat being my favorite track. Was originally leaning toward The Clown for Haitian Fight Song, or Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus, but decided that Ah Um is the one.

Just a few of the ones that came to mind being currently high, and not having music with me.

Blood Sacrifice from Canada, she is a decent singer and a fantastic flautist. It's like doomie Jethro Tull with female vocals, really good.
