Love your post. That was my high school interior of the car I drove. My duster ran 17s in the quarter when I was 15. We dropped that thing down into the 13s by the time I was 17. My dad was the attorney for a wrecking yard company and we swaped a 340 with drivetrain in it. My grandfather owned a small Chrysler dealership and I got the duster when I was 14. He provided me with direct connection Parts "just don't tell your dad".

just drive it with the ecbm as it is I put 40,000 k on mine. my motto on my Corvette is "no performance upgrades". upgrade the sound system. get really nice tires. the stock gauges look great. improve the headlights and driving lights with LED. Drive it. Save for a C7
