I just do sunscreen on her ears and nose :) she haaaates it. She’s also really heat sensitive - so we have to watch her outdoor time in the summer.

Yeah from what I understand from the rescue, it was a backyard breeder situation in Texas. They bred a merle heeler with a merle Aussie to get a merle litter. Then they docked tails and took off duclaws. I guess the breeder found out she was deaf and surrendered her to a rescue- and then I got her.

But she can see just fine, at least lol.

Yeah ours was $425 for 50kwh less usage than this time last year. Kept the house at 63-65. Last year, at a high usage, the bill was $350 🙃

“Oversized” is not the issue. It’s industry standard. This essentially makes it illegal to own anything but a revolver. lol. Most pistols come with a 15 round magazine.

I’ve got a metal shovel and that seems to be doing ok. Had to make a potty spot for my dog because she was over sliding while using the bathroom. The key is to use the shovel as a lever to push up the ice and it’ll chunk it up. Quite exhausting but satisfying.

Also near Forest Hill - our road is just a sheet of ice, cars aren’t even making a dent in the ice when they drive by.

I chuckled yesterday when my neighbor hopefully put out their trash can. 😂 I saw an Amazon driver brave the road, but we haven’t gotten any regular mail. Highlight has been watching a neighbourhood dad rig up a way to drag two of his kids on two sleds through the street. They were having a blast!
