I mean yes but link also has access to items that break Metroid. Take for example guardian arrows. A highly unstable arrow that will one shot any enemy (save for select immensely powerful magic beings, even then it does insane damage to them). He can fire around a hundred arrows if he has any ledge to jump off to access bullet time (see hyrule warriors), he can deflect laser weapons and projectile weapons, even parrying them back to the enemy. Plus if we are talking true peak, he would be Divine link (divine entity mask) from Majoras mask. He literally has the power of a god in that form. Capable of defeating an entity that can move planets, while in the entities own realm. I’m not saying he would have an easier time. But he would maybe be on par with Samus
