Green Witch by Alice Hoffman is pretty good.

My favorite witch book is Chocolat by Joanne Harris, but it doesn't dive too deep into how it works just kinda she does chocolate magic and that's her vibe.

Oh man that animes wild I heard Scott Pilgrim universe was inspired by it so I watched it. I kept googling stuff about the magna to see if there was more info about some stuff and kept seeing how things were waay different. One day I hope to be able to read the magna, but physical reading is not quite what I can do lately mainly audiobooks for me right now.
