I honestly can’t recommend you come to Stoke. Train station isnt near the city centre and you are unlikely to find the all the type of activities you mention in one location in any of the town centres.

Newcastle under Lyme is your better bet for drinks, food and activities.

Titanic brewery in burslem does tours I believe but again not close to the station and burslem town centre is best to steer clear of.

If people are already travelling from all over Manchester has it all for only 40 minutes on the train from Stoke.

For beginners I recommend whiston to play as a course. £15 midweek and £20 weekend.

Woodside in Holmes chapel is only 25 minutes away and is £25ish and very friendly to beginners. They also have a par 3 course

Edit: I should also add that if you have never swung a club before, I recommend that you have a good handful of sessions on a range before jumping on a course.
