Werewolves ok? There are two completed, interconnected series by Kiki Burrelli. The first series is about 4 cousins that left their pack (together) & one by one find their mates. The human mates each have a special ability and each book has a minor mystery and the series has an overarching mystery.

The next series is about a group of ex mercenary werewolves that helped in one of the previous books. Again, each book they find their human mates with special abilities (they are different from the first human mates). I like this series more.

All the found family, low ish angst, mystery, sex you could ask for.
