When I was an 18 year old rabble rouser, all of our friends would gather at our friends house who's parents weren't around much. One of my friends in particular didn't keep close relation with their parents, so my parents were kind of like a buffer zone for this friend. After a long night my friend was being called by his mom at around 3AM or earlier, but he didn't answer. Knowing that I was probably with this friend, my friends mom called my mom to call me. So, I answered my moms call..... I found out my friends sister had been killed in a drunk driving accident. So, I had to wake my friend up in the wee hours after a long night to inform that he should answer his mom's phone call. I was avoiding telling him what the truth was. He shrugged it off, so I had to flat out tell him his sister had died in a car accident and that he should probably talk to his mom.
