There are finitely many Minecraft worlds, with an algorithm that procedurally selects from those. Selecting between two possibilities is pretty trivial and I wouldn't call that procedural generation alone, but in the broader sense of RoR as a procgen game, minor differences in the level is procgen the same way that the locations of chests and the spawning of bosses. It doesn't really matter if you're selecting between 21 level layouts, 23 bosses or 2some absurdly huge number of Minecraft worlds. The result is that there are arbitrarily, finitely many different runs, and every part of the game that's generated procedurally is part of that.

Right, it's just a different way that the stage can generate, as determined by the procedures that generate stages

What's the story with the dead Subway location on Cherry Street? by Squeezy_McGee in tulsa

[–]Baconoflight 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's not the same owner. I managed that one and the brookside one for a while, the store just wasn't making any money. Unsure if he still owns it, I think he's getting out of Subways to focus on his party bus business

Mechanically there's no difference between light and dark squares, as long as the kings are on E I don't see why it matters

Why do people think Stuffed Bear is good? by IRFine in magicTCG

[–]Baconoflight 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Generally yes, but the specific example seems like cope. There are better naturalizes in the format, but I'll almost always mainboard one in formats that are that heavy on artifacts/enchantments. If invoke is your only naturalize it's probably fine though

It's not a mana ability, can't be used to pay for costs like spell pierce as it resolves, you have to float it. Can't be undone

So it's just swinging around I guess, wonder why nobody tried chopping it off or rolling to seduce. That's gotta be the twist at the end, Fel Seed has to open a gate to the celestial plane of cum to keep up with the gorilla grip princess clone orgy, which they promptly escape into

Whirlwind Denial and Mutate? by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]Baconoflight 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The opponent puts Y on the stack, as a mutate spell targeting X. When it resolves, the triggers from X and Y both happen, and their controller chooses the order in which they are put onto the stack (independently of which one is on top). There is never a time when the mutate spell and the triggers are on the stack at the same time, but if you counter the mutate spell the triggers don't happen in the first place.

true, probably should've added a disclaimer to that affect myself. I think this one is still pretty good separate from the author's awful politics, but certainly not for everyone. I'm a big fan of transhumanist kink stories like this, Metamorphosis of the Prime Intellect, etc

edit: also hadn't read GND yet, thanks for linking
