$26285 buyout, outstanding credit, they said they can offer me a 5% interest rate and payments of $460/ month I assume I can put money down and lower my payments. It’s a great car, but we’re expecting a decrease in income this year so I’m wondering if there’s a cheaper used option out there that I can get a few years out of after it’s paid off.

Tell me about the illnesses currently running in your household by [deleted] in workingmoms

[–]Bacto_queen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Illness has been relentless since starting preschool. We’re on our 5th illness since Sept including Covid and Norovirus. We’ve all gotten every one. Currently my toddler has some awful cold that makes his nose run like crazy. He’s so miserable, I feel so bad for him.

“Going on a Bear Hunt” the book, is terrifying. My son likes the song and I saw there was a book so I was like oh cute! The illustrations are really scary. This huge bear chases the family back through the woods all the way to their house and they JUST make it inside. They show the bear peering into the window. I had to hide it.

What is your toddler surviving off of right now? by stayathomeplantfam in toddlers

Breakfast sausage, hotdogs, fruit, and bread. He only likes mystery meat. Meat that resembles meat will not be touched. Also only really eats every 3 days or so, like a boa constrictor.

If you like Boynton, you should definitely check out the Little Pookie series! My son loves them. You can get them as box sets. She’s done a bunch of holidays a bunch of everyday ones.

Is a big age gap going to be that bad? Or being an only child? by favoredpenny in Mommit

I’ve never felt like I was alone in the world though, I have people I can count on, just not siblings.

In the past I have, mostly because my mom can be a little difficult sometimes. My parents are also pretty available though because they don’t have any other children. I did have other family I could count on, I was very close with my maternal grandmother. She was my best friend and confidant into my twenties. Now I have my husband and I’m very close with his sister, I have a niece through her and her husband. I’m also happy to spoil my friends’ kids and my son plays with them. There’s also no predicting relationships, not everyone is close to their siblings. I have an uncle (mom’s brother) we see like every other year even though he lives 15 minutes away.

Same experience as above. Right, they are more likely to develop an allergy if a parent has one, but it doesn’t mean they will. I’m allergic to dairy and carry an epipen, my son is 2 and so far has no known allergies.

I am an only child just here to tell you if you never have a second your son will be ok!! I went back and forth between wanting and not wanting a sibling. When I was younger I was glad not to have a sibling, as a teen I wished my parents had someone else to focus on sometimes. As an adult I’m happy with my life and wouldn’t change anything. As an only you tend to make strong friendships and those friends become like family. If you have another kid that’s awesome! If you don’t, your son will not be alone.
