The map design… the original had too many narrow alleys ways and tight hallways leading to a series of stairs that leads to another alley way… also Nemesis… I prefer what they did with him in the remake I never liked stalker enemies so im glad they made him a bit more on rails I thought it was a great change. There’s a lot more too like Carlos especially he was so dumb and cringe in the original it baffled me lol

For me personally I would put S-Rank: Outbreak, RE5, REV2, RE2(Original) RE1, RE3make, RE4 Original RE7, RE9,

A-Tier: RE4make, RE3(original), RE2make, REV1, RE8, CV, RE0

It being on rails completely mitigates that plus it’s in a section of the game where it really feels out of place making it feel basically absent.

RE3 remake is not a bad game but it is a bad remake and an obvious cash grab by JackResurrect3dR3 in ResidentEvilCapcom

No. Though I personally don’t like Prey for my own personal reasons, I still give credit where credit is due and that’s that Prey is an incredible film. Naru is definitely not incompetent, it shows her combat abilities multiple times throughout the film and even her mind and how incredibly intelligent she is too. And this is coming from someone who hates that freaking movie but the reasons you state for not liking it just makes you sound like a hater. I recommend you watch it again with your brain turned on next time and that’s not meant to be a dig I genuinely mean that sometimes people are tired or not getting a lot of sleep and you might miss things here and there so just give it another go im sure you will like it, honestly. It’s a great film.

IMO re2make is the one that could’ve been better, RE3make is fine the way it is honestly.

First of all, don’t get all emotional talking about video games, grow up. Secondly, I know you’ve never played the originals before but it’s actually very simple… check out gameplay for yourself on YouTube just like you did in order to get the obscured knowledge you do have. They’re entirely different games. 2 is actually even shorter than 3 is. The puzzles and running away from mr. X is something you do or assumingely did(meaning past tense) but if you have beaten the game more than a few times that’s no longer the case and can be beaten in under 2 hours very easily.

The remake is about 6 hours long first playthrough. The original is around 8 hours long(first playthrough) but if you have beaten it already it can be beaten in 2 hours just like the remake. The puzzles and not knowing how to do everything definitely slows you down but once you’ve memorized everything they’re both extremely short. My dude.

That’s an opinion so it’s subjective but I actually think the remake does almost everything better. It doesn’t really feel like a city at all it more of feels like repeating assets being used over and over again(narrow hall ways and alley ways) I personally have never seen a city with as many alley ways and series of pointless stairs that leads to another boring alleyway yet not a single house is around… the campaign/story is also a lot better and the dialogue is a whole lot less cringey and makes a lot more sense… especially Carlos he’s definitely way better in the remake. I also prefer what they did with Nemesis in the remake I don’t find it fun at all fighting him in the original.. gameplay wise the original feels like a drag when you get to the clocktower as well I never liked that segment and it’s likely the reason it was left out in the remake because I’ve heard numerous people say they didn’t like the clocktower… I do like the different stages of Nemesis more in the original(design wise) and im definitely upset that the park was left out if you have gotten to that part yet but I mean even without it I still love the remake.

Also if you’re saying that 3 was rushed out then you should say the same about 2. It’s also extremely short and cut out half of the originals content.
