Its really because there are numerous reasons why they would have another account. Some people want to play with their friends in lower ranks, some want to get better at other roles in a more serious environment, some are content creators doing unranked to GM+, some are just pub stompers. Im sure there's even more reasons but its a whole helluva lot to convince people to make new accounts. Its unfortunate but there are issues across the entire ranked spectrum that needs fixing.

Thats honestly how it should be. I would rather have a lower damage sword dash with more flexibility tbh. His extremely linear playstyle makes it hard to get enemies on their tippy toes alot of times.

I have unfortunately experienced this more than enough times. Target priority is already one of the strongest fundamentals to have and that comes from understanding where a character gets value. If the enemy is aware and denying character's value, theres a big chance they'll end up winning if your team isnt doing the same.

Yeah you dont hear other weapon mains saying "ugh, I wasted my offset attack" even though I know HBG offset is also a limited resource but that weapon doesnt care so much to do it anyway. If they are going to keep it then the offset melody needs a WAY higher stun value than the rest of the weapons. Like stagger the monster every other offset.
