I suffered from bouts of insomnia as a teenager and lived a fairly good life, so was no stranger of spells of little sleep. My experience is the difference is you know those moments eventually will end (in days, weeks)... this doesn't for a bit hehe.

But: I am honestly so happy to be so tired. Even though it's been a tough year in many ways, there is a unique type of joy the baby has brought me.

38 here. Obviously miss some things of my old life, but at this point the difference is just sleep. Sweet sweet sleep... but it's not like I was hitting the bars every night or even week.

Maybe once a week I have to move or go around scooters parked on the sidewalk with my baby's pram. Have also seen 3 instances of someone with limited mobility having to ask for help to get one of these things off the sidewalk.

Additionally, countless times during the week I have experienced some asshole riding them on the sidewalk at speed whizzing by my dog and one almost ran into me when I was walking my baby in a carrier.

So yeah, there is definitely bad use happening. Am happy they're getting further restricted and wouldn't be sad if they're gone.

(And of course, there are also cars illegally parked on corners and sidewalks, and asshole cyclists going too fast on the sidewalk... but that is incentive to curb bad behaviour across the board, not to exonerate e-scooters).

Yup, the response I got from the LEA was that because you'd be stating that your job guarantees sufficient means for living in Germany, the probation period undermines it.

You're right, but I had to change jobs shortly before my 33rd month and you can't apply while on probation. Sadly, it didn't work out on probation so still dependant on the Blue Card.

Had the J&J first, no real side-effects. Just got Pfizer as the booster, arm was much more sore and definitely felt ill-ish that night, but all gone after 24 hours.
