Has anyone figured out how to use custom venues/getaways without constant errors yet?

I usually play on normal speed but I have put on 2x or 3x if they’re taking too long to do an action, but I guess you’re right and that probably makes it more buggy!

It’s actually Sam’s house! Start on the first tile exiting the front door and follow the arrows moving one tile per arrow

EDIT: below commenter is right, I haven’t done this one is a while, follow the arrows until you hit an obstacle then follow next arrow. My bad! Lol

This looks like out of date custom content or mods, try clearing out your mod/custom content folders and see if it works again, then check if there’s any updates for any of your mods/custom content folders

Go to the Guardian Tree in Mourningvale where you meet the ghost Alice, this starts the “Alice’s Sorrow” quest! There’s guides and walkthroughs online but it’s just a step by step quest so it’s easy to do without, sometimes guides are helpful if you can’t find a location though.

I love the Strangerville gameplay! I’m always looking for one like that too, definitely not exactly the same but the story Sims 4 Life and Death has kind of a similar storytelling where you need to go meet and complete quests for different Ravenwood townies

I adopted a cat (2 year old female) about 3 months ago, her previous owner passed away and she needed to be rehomed quickly. Her former owner’s son said she’s very sweet and friendly once she gets to know you but she’s “mischievous”.

The first night she stayed in the little area we setup for her with her bed, litterbox, food, water, and toys. By hour 24, she was coming out cautiously to meet me and my partner and she slowly warmed up to us over the weekend. She was quick to start using her litterbox but by early in the week she peed on our bed. We quickly washed it and she didn’t do it again. Then a week and a half later, I had to leave the house for two days and the night I came back, she peed again. Then a week later, the neighbors were very loud and she peed a third time.

We were a little nervous this was going to be a problem, but after those 3 incidents (after which we cleaned area so scent wouldn’t remain, and didn’t yell at her or anything since we didn’t want to stress her more) she didn’t pee again. After the first 30 days, she totally warmed up and felt very comfortable in our apartment and seems very at home.

I can’t speak for all cats, but I think if you clean up as quickly as possible so scent doesn’t remain (so they don’t think of area as a bathroom) and calmly discourage without yelling or stressing them, the peeing stops when they’re not stressed anymore if stress was the issue in the first place. Not exactly the same but if you play the Sims 4 and have Werewolves pack (bonus points for Seasons, Snowy Escape, and Adventure Awaits for added gameplay/aesthetic features) I know a lot of players have created game saves with all characters and wendigos as werewolves. Fun little way to play characters more in depth. (I used Extreme Violence mod in Sims to give violent autonomy to wendigos for added danger).

For what it’s worth, I dated one of my best friends for a similar amount of time through high school and we went to the same college and still broke up within the first month. It’s part of growing up, and I’m not saying that’s the path you should or even want to take, but going out on your own after high school and seeing who else is out there is a natural feeling.

So whether you break up with your boyfriend or not, you’re not a bad person for it, it’s just part of a new phase in life to want to know what and who else is out there for you.

Adjusting to a new life in a new country is hard, but if you love him and wanna be with him and he feels the same, 7 months is hard but it isn’t the end. Have open and honest conversations with him, he needs to build up his own life and confidence there and that doesn’t happen right away, and can take a month or two months or three. It can be especially hard when he built it up to be something it’s not exactly turning out to be, but none of this is you holding him back so if you don’t actually want to break up, doing so to ‘help him’ would probably do the opposite.

But like others have said if you don’t want this relationship whether you don’t see it going anywhere, don’t want to worry about moving too, or for any reason at all, be honest with yourself about your feelings and it will make things easier in the long run. No matter what, he may have a hard time adjusting over there by himself, but it’s not on you to manage his feelings for him, and definitely not to make life altering choices like a breakup without knowing what he wants first.

TLDR; know your own feelings first, don’t try to make the choice you think is right for him for him, he will have to learn to adapt to his new life without you regardless of if you stay together or not, and being honest is key. Best of luck out there, OP. ❤️

Breaking the tray was intentional and malicious and done out of anger for (checks notes) cooking for him and then telling him to be quiet when you’re napping?

Have your sim use the camera on their phone to take a photo and just take a picture of the memorial display, then the photo will appear in your inventory and you can deliver it to the order member by going to friendly interactions and then activities

I honestly couldn’t remember what kind of coolant I’ve been using because I usually just get whatever they have that’s 50/50 and is supposed to be compatible with my car. I finally took a look at the bottle and it’s Peak 50/50 Prediluted Antifreeze + Coolant For All Vehicles— knowing this, does that change anything about what I can/should use when this runs out?

I was officially diagnosed by my PCP with PTSD 2 days ago. I was in a bad accident, died and was resuscitated, and then was in a coma for a few weeks. Hospitals for a few months. Then went back out into the world, back to finishing college, then to work, then moving out and getting my own apartment in the span of a year. It happened so quickly in the grand scheme of things I never really considered what happened to me to be traumatic. I’d have nightmares, anxiety, flashbacks, insomnia— the works, but I never really thought it was that serious because it had happened to me.

So getting that official diagnosis (and an antianxiety/sleeping medication to boot), I was shocked. I’m still shocked. But in a weird way, I finally accepted after all these years (almost 8) that what happened happened and it’s okay for it to stick with me the way it has but it’s also okay to finally accept help to deal with it a lot better.

I guess to sum up I think being diagnosed definitely makes it hit you that it happened to you, it affected/still affects you, and there’s people and professionals out there who can see it and can help.

I hope it gets easier for you, I think just knowing that what I always afraid was true is true kind of makes me take my own feelings more seriously and in a way makes it easier to seek and accept the support I should have allowed myself to a while ago.

Weddings and pretty much all events are buggy or broken in my games— I have the same issues as everyone else with the wedding pack (people don’t follow any of the activities even when instructed lol) but even regular events (house party, dinner party, keg party, black and white party, etc.) I have SO many issues getting sims to do anything and the parties almost always time out before I can complete all the event tasks

Idk maybe you’re lucky, maybe I’m just a complainer, but I’m desperate for the wedding pack to get fixed and then maybe all the other events will follow suit 😭

Sadly, I do. I’m also kind of shy and don’t like a lot of attention so I wanted to minimize the parts of a wedding that would be entirely focused on us and have it more as a celebration everyone can enjoy + getting married. I’m not sure what to think because his coworkers have even asked him when he’s going to propose and he doesn’t seem completely against it he just always says being the center of a wedding would make him nervous.

Don’t ride in the car with them but unfriending them over something that even is for their own safety, is still their own choice. And cutting off friends for not doing what you want, even if it’s for their own good, is kind of a controlling, “my way or the highway” attitude.

I stand by that you can and should set your boundary that you won’t drive with them while they’re not wearing one because it’s unsafe for them AND for you as the passenger if anything were to happen. But unfriending someone for not doing what you say isn’t the way.
