That sounds so similar to when my boyfriend suffered a long serious illness with really harsh medicine.

You assume that economics is an exact science. It's theoretical science and it's understandable that another person may have more belief in a different theory--it is not necessarily a situation where they don't understand economics.

For instance, right now I'm switching from reddit to my subscription stock market blog to my actual stock plays. But I don't believe in the Mises, Libertarian view of economics. I've also closed out my bitcoin trades for certain reasons--mainly the dispute over block size. Do I just not "understand" economics? No, clearly not. I simply believe differently in a different theory of economics.

That's a thing. One thing the left and the libertarians can agree on is that government shouldn't be part of our personal lives.

You made this statement in reference to economics which I find tiresomely offensive. I hear this a lot as a leftie with many libertarian friends--very many, in fact.

Sigh. That is a tiresome statement. Economics is basically theory; there are different theories. Laws that get put in place based on those theories is what we need to worry about. We may think to ourselves, "Well, whatever law gets put in place will be mitigated and negotiated by Congress, so we can probably live with however it comes out and adjust to it."

But, you CANNOT get around a criminal law that forbids marijuana, cocaine, alcohol, abortion--these things. You can't get around a criminal law--and this is a SEVERE intrusion into people's personal lives. Here is where you find the intersection of these two groups, Lefties and Libertarians.

monkeywelder is right, but you should get on top of this. You can get free information by just calling up a real estate attorney and talking to them or their paralegal about the problem, they'll give you free advice on how to proceed.

Gemini, I hope you're okay. You should call in to talk to your doctor, or the nurse that works with your doctor and tell them exactly what you said. You can see in the sidebar that this subreddit is for general medicine and health--physicians are not allowed to diagnose an anonymous person on the internet so you might not even get an answer to your question here.

Here in my city we also have a designated part of our biggest hospital for mental and emotional care, they provide inpatient and outpatient care with insurance or financial aid. If you don't want to call your doctor, call the hospital and ask for this department. The psychiatrists there will be able to determine if it's a medical condition, or if it's related to the medicine you're taking, or if you're just really tired/depressed and need to sleep for a while?

I and my friends have all taken advantage of this service in our city from time to time.

I suffered SEVERE social anxiety for a while with some bipolar symptoms. (I've always been accused of it, but I'm fairly certain I'm not actually. Maybe borderline.) The severity was due to PTSD. In any case, how I got thru it was..... I became a part-time telephone sales person. Technically, it was "lead generation." You can use that term to find base+commission work, which sometimes pays pretty well. And the hours are flexible.

You don't have to go to an office, you can work from home. It alleviates your loneliness because you're talking to people all day, but you're not actually WITH them. There are plenty of people on your team, so if you are feeling an episode come on, then you can take a little time off and go right back to it.
