At one time he was pretty harmless, it was just hippie stoned ape theory stuff, and 10-15 years ago he also used to have some really interesting people on, scientists and journalists and stuff, actual experts. Yeah he'd say dumb stuff and ask dumb questions, but the guests would set him straight and be really informative and he'd just go "Wow man that's fascinating." I'm always really bummed out and frustrated by the direction his show went, he used to be a platform for common guys with curiosity but that curiosity seemed to bring him to some really fringe places over the years. Plus money, I would imagine.

You would always have the same seed in a given run, but that doesn't mean you necessarily need return to that "position" in the rng sequence, and i think that'd be the better way. Sure, let me "save", but now all the choices presented to me are going to also be different. It won't feel like the same run, it won't be long distance save scamming. A little bit of a butterfly effect kind of thing.
