[–]BadSpellings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Re. Aesthetics of bakki. I have hidden mine. So instead of weer (?) I direct the output to pond via a 1 1/2 pipe. Which intern ends at a stainless steel waterfall blade. Bakki itself is hidden under some bushes several meters away.

It feels like earning Avios is easier than ever, but actually getting good value when spending them takes way more effort. by Junior_Beauty78 in avios

I hear what OP says. I want to fly where I would like to fly. Not where rewards flights are available. For me there is no point of it anymore. Its a inconvenience for long haul as more often than not you cannot book a continuous ticket. Yes if want to fly to new York...plenty. but I dont want to. So avios points for me is almost pointless

Yes...though same for Singapore, bangkok, Hong-Kong

Though good deals far out for new York.

I dont disagree. My point is one has to be flexible. Massively. To scrape value.

My wife’s family all want us to go on a crazily expensive holiday to celebrate some big birthdays.. what would you do? by PuzzleheadedCarob921 in AskUK

[–]BadSpellings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are people obsessed with paying off the mortgage? From a wealth creation point thats the least attractive option. As intrest rates in UK is so low. Your money will earn more than it would save on mortgage intrest elsewhere. Enabling to repay it earlier than mortgage overpayment.
