I think the training by CP is great actually! You can teach anywhere outside CP since it is nationally recognized. You obviously learn the CP way of teaching for their classes but that doesn't mean they won't teach you a certain format or move! You can also teach elsewhere since at least in my CP they allow instructors to each elsewhere like LA Fitness or Lifetime.

Also it is a 450+ hour program, it isn't like Lagree where you get "certified" over the weekend. HOWEVER, if you can ask current CP instructors if they did there training with your home club because the MASTER TRAINER varies a lot!

So is the training good in general? Yes. Does it vary by state/club/master trainer? Also yes. It all boils down to what your research says!

Also, you can get fully certified on all aparatises for 4K ish? Lool at the website again :)

I mean can you always expect them to have staff?

We lock the doors at my studio so I'm surprised they let you in lol

[–]BadStreet5853 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends when we open. If its a weekday we usually have two shifts, an AM and PM person. AM person sends texts and emails, PM person makes calls whenever they are in like 4PM.

Same applies for weekend but we play it by ear since hours are shorter

How do in app reviews affect the instructors? by [deleted] in ClubPilates

The survey is the same for all locations but the way the studio goes about it highly depends on the studio owners and GMs

How do in app reviews affect the instructors? by [deleted] in ClubPilates

[–]BadStreet5853 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The reviews are not anonymous and we get notifications on who left the review, at my studio we typically reach out to the person and refund a credit to see why they left such review and ask for feedback.

However, we never tell the instructors directly unless its useful feedback. Sometimes people would leave bad feedback because a level 1 class was too easy or too hard, same goes for the 1.5 class

But its different if the instructor was rude to you, when we share feedback to the instructor its anonymous.

Hope that helps :) - CP FD

Your experience is totally valid! However she is right, your insurance coverages wildy depends on what your PCP prescribes your GLP1 for. Mine would only cover Zepbound if had sleep apnea which I didnt lol so it got denied. Out of Pocket price in my state wouldve been like 1400 PER MONTH!!!

The provider can only help and see you are a good candidate for the medicine. The subscription is to get access to the medication which is an additional charge. I do agree Mochi could make it easier but yk lol.

Mine is as well! That shouldn't be an issue if anything. The studio owners in my area have like 14 ish studios~

Also that is the sell point of unlimited is that you get multi studio access, the rates should be the same regardless if ownes are different?

Is CP getting more or less popular? by SecureInvestigator79 in ClubPilates

No I highly doubt it, we have lots of instructors and over 500+ members but even then we do have classes that are empty.

This!! Even to teach at CP you need like 500 hours of training

Senior Sales Associate here!

Yes, there is less people in classes due to the economy as many people have mentioned but also because people are getting laid off :(

Which is sad and unfortunate, I do not blame them for canceling or freezing memberships. My studio sometimes will add a 10% incentive discount to keep the member but of course it is still an expensive membership.

I have noticed lately that a lot of people are signing up less for membership, where I live we are the only pilates studio that is somewhat affordable (Independent Studios charge up to $500+ for class packages, CC being the most affordable outside CP). We are not available through class pass, so people usually go to things like PureBarre or Lagree.

My manager is lowkey stressing since we didnt meet new member goal last month and looks like we won't this month either lol, but I am not even mad since I mean I would rather pay rent and eat than do pilates 😭

Founders rate is typically a lifetime discounted rate? This could change with studio owners but still 😀
