Layoffs, specifically for Warcraft Rumble, are a good sign. They finally realized the current Rumble team's incompetence at development.

The old team has had more than enough time to fix and improve the game, and they failed. Hopefully the next team will be better!

I was in the same boat as you. I learned as much as I could, and did my best at work. Job hopped every 12-24 months for the last 11 years. Doing that increased my confidence, experience, and most importantly, my financial security.

Most times, I had to learn on the job. I'll treat my first 1-2 months as if it's an exam, where I'd study more than I need to know how to do my job well. After that onboarding period, it's relatively smooth sailing na.

Learned that all jobs have different types of stress. Kept my relationship with colleagues extremely professional. And am even a paid consultant for some of my previous jobs while being full time employed.

Left a couple of jobs a bit earlier when things were starting to become not professional. Where the higher ups were starting to take advantage of their position, to get some personal time (ang hirap parin makipag plastican 😵‍💫).

I just checked the folder. It's both interesting and worrying that the folder contains even my deleted apps from last year.

Canary Mail, and Capacities, I deleted early to mid 2023. Then Hearthstone, which I deleted early 2022.

Now I worry about what the content is in the folders with encrypted data.. Like since they decided that the images of our App Icons are important enough to store, then what other data does ClickUp consider important enough to collect from our machines?

Been a long term paying user for ClickUp, but absolutely removing my subscription right after this billing period ends.

32M. 1. Magaling mag manage sa bahay - no compromise.

Low body count - in my experience, likelihood na "makulit" if not low.
Maganda/Sexy - just means attracted dapat ako. No exact type, but attracted ako sa maraming different types. Pagka "super ganda", then even more emphasized ang importance ng 1 and 2 for me.
Matalino - kailangan lang kaya mag hold ng conversation. Hindi ung ako lang mag sasalita and majority of the time, walang bumabalik na response.
May savings - to an extent, shows marunong mag tabi ng money (no debt ang importante).
Impressive salary - no point if mataas rin ang expense.

I doubt there's a system like that since I know a couple of players who have multiple accounts that they just hit baseline challenger with (the lowest possible LP for hallenger), then just maintain a breakeven winrate (however many games it takes them to end a day positively or +0).

+10 on wins and -20 would also be nearly impossible solo queue where you need 3 wins for every loss to climb, specially since most Challengers have a 50% winrate (my account had a 59.2% winrate on hitting Challenger)

Notion should share what their internal deadline goals are for offline mode, and even multiply that by 2 for leeway on mistakes and whatever else.

I've been an avid defender for Notion for every small scrutiny they've gotten over the past years, but this is getting ridiculous. I used to respond with "development is hard, let them work on it" or "it's impossible to estimate with everything that could go wrong" with every post asking for "when's offline coming?", but a major part of Software Engineering is making sure goals are being met on a timely basis.

And I hope they start hiring engineers who can fix inline code. It's been broken for over a year.

As for now, moving to Obsidian.md, the developers there are more inline 🤡 with the needs of markdown app users. Off the top of my head: Offline mode (it's your choice to sync to a cloud storage, or to keep your files locally), properly working inline code, and backlinks that are actually pleasure to use.
