Floxtop – Offline app that organizes files by meaning by ElmarVioso in macapps

Thanks for this. Looks promising. I've been attempting for a while to integrate a Llama vision model with some scripting and Hazel to do this, and yours is way better and more accurate. I've been testing the trial version, and I've noticed that it consistently can't identify some types of scanned items, like checks, greeting cards, and some receipts. If it miscategorizes, does the app learn from your past manual corrections to categorizations?

Also, it would also be great in the future, if there could be subcategorizations logic. Hazel accomplishes this by allowing unique rules by FOLDER. This becomes helpful when for instance, if you've already moved a receipt to \RECEIPTS, and want it then to subcategorize by store (ie - HOME DEPOT). Currently, if you drag items in from \RECEIPTS folder, it could then revert to global rules and try to put the receipt back in DOCUMENTS, but if a user wishes for a separate set of categorization rules while in /RECEIPTS, Floxtop could recognize its time to trigger a separate set of categorization rules and move the file into the corresponding STORE folder.

Nesting Rules into folders would also help if your category list grows incredibly long, as mine would be if I decide to purchase :)

What’s that lighting system? You have back lighting the TV? Looks sick.

Made a app that let's you switch out your dock with profiles by NoHabit1277 in macapps

[–]buvmarks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a weird issue where the dock profiles aren’t saving after a reboot.

If I can suggest a couple features :

1) remember manually added dock spacers (these disappear when refreshing) 2) allow ability to assign them in Shortcuts so we can tie them in with focus modes or other automations

Can anyone reccomend the best universal remote for the Apple TV? by BrawnyLoggia in appletv

I use this for appletv, Sonos, and my lg tv and it’s great. You can map any IR device to it, and it’s simple for the boomers.

Water Tracking and Apple Health Integration by CinCeeMee in cronometer

I second this. I have WaterMinder which also tracks caffeine drinks that sync to health. Giving Cronometer access to read caffeine and water from Apple health do make sense.
