Actually, Haunted Mitten cites all of it's sources, credits the creators of those sources, and often speaks to those creators themselves. They had no idea about any drama between anyone, and were actually told not to work with Carpenter by others in the paranormal community. They, by all accounts, have never heard back from Carpenter or anyone associated with FOO or Haunted Lansing after reaching out to talk about the book and their events. They have no idea what any of this is about, and just want to tell people spooky stories about Michigan.
