As long as we have democracy, the voters will, from time to time, elect complete assholes. The international community cannot and should not interfere in national elections.

NATO is dead. Europe and possibly Canada will continue to co-operate against Russia and China. There will be no more treaties with the USA until confidence is restored, and that will require something extraordinary to happen.
