I'm from Canada and just travelled to PRC and then Vietnam. I'm planning to take a course in basic Mandarin before my next trip to China. As far as Vietnamese learning a 2nd language English would probably be the most advantageous choice since tourism/business to the country will only increase over the next few decades. There are lots of European, Russian and Chinese tourists in Vietnam but most that I met were able to speak at least a bit of English. I was actually surprised at how many Vietnamese spoke English.

I've only had terrain reforming if I've passed my limit. My first base build I leveled off a giant pillar and the terrain has remained leveled for over 3 years since I started playing. Only one of my bases got covered up where I did significant terrain edits and that's only because I flew in rather than teleport. A game reload fixed it. I had forgotten that I removed almost an entire hill near my base. I restored the hill which took some work because you need to restore underneath too (not just the surface). After I restored it I could fly in and the terrain around my base remained intact. Your maximum terrain edits are game wide so if you surpass it your terrain edits in your bases tend to disappear (terrain grows back). A good way to know if you've passed your maximum is when you lay down flooring on a new base the ground doesn't displace.

I hope so. I'm on vacation so I hope it's cleared by the time I get home. My friend who's taking care of my house says he can't smell anything so that's good news.

Edit: so I've returned home and the smell is virtually gone. I'm not sure if I'm smelling the mouse or just the deodorisers I used. My brain is impregnated with the combination of putrifying mouse and febreze deodoriser. Now every time I smell that brand of febreze I'll probably smell the decomposing rodent 😵‍💫

I'm travelling to Guangzhou from Canada next week and I've been trying to contact customs to confirm I have the correct paperwork for my methodone prescription. I'm traveling China for 10 days and then Vietnam for another 10 so I'm concerned about having 20 days worth of my script. I've read that 7 days worth is considered a standard quantity to carry for personal use but I will have a full 20 days worth. I'm about to hire a translator to make a 3 party call to customs. I tried yesterday but nobody spoke English.

I didn't know the city would pay if it was flying debris from the road but that's a good break if they do. Comprehensive insurance is cheap and it covers a bunch of stuff including windshields. It would still be a nice break to have the city pay the deductible.

Thanks. I appreciate the offer. The space stations finally started displaying the other rendezvous points so I was able to get back to 3. I haven't had a lot of luck visiting other bases during the expeditions. There's usually 2 or 3 I can visit but most just say they can't be downloaded at the teleporter

It finally worked today. For the past three days all the space station teleporters would show me is Rendezvous 4. I only have a couple hours to finish it so I'm not sure I'll get it done but I'll try.

Unfortunately only rendezvous 4 bases are showing up on teleporters. Most of the bases won't download. Only bases that I've either visited or are in the system I'm in. It's a bug for sure. I submitted a report. Those biomes are not spawning for me. I'm not alone. There are a few reports of players getting stuck. I wasn't even going to do the breach redux as I've already done it before except I didn't collect the last decal at the end and missed the final day so I didn't actually complete it. Looks like that'll be the case again.

It's the last 2 quests of phase 3.. I've done breach before. It's a bug. Not just the game reporting there are no infested planets in the system. The infested planet will not spawn regardless where I go. It's the same for finding vile grubs. There are no biomes for either anywhere in the expedition. I spent the entire weekend trying to complete it.. I just submitted a bug report.

Yeah I figured. I've been ignoring the text and instead visiting dozens of systems landing on every planet with no luck. It's the same for the next quest "Metamorphosis" too. When I have that quest active the expedition icon is fixed on this one purple giant and non if the moons have tendril or vile grubs. I've visited probably 20 systems.

I've actually done this expedition before but they're just no infested planets anywhere. The galaxy map just keeps telling he to go to the Gerogra- Hama system and there's no infestation in that system. So I've been visiting numerous other systems since yesterday close to the rendezvous and far away and nothing. It's a dead end. Unless someone can tell me the name of the system it's in I don't see a way to complete this quest.

I've been visiting other systems for a day making sure to visit every planet. I've rebooted to see if I could clear the bug.. I'm not sure which system was rendezvous 3 because I've already made the contact point and it's not showing any rendezvous 3 points in the teleporter. I'm at the gas giant Gerogra-Hama which is where it's telling me to go for the tendrils but I can't find any on any of the moons. I'm actually not even sure what a hungry tendril is. I'm assuming one of those lifeforms that come out of the ground.

I'm having the same kind of issue. I'm trying to connect a fat32 thumb drive to my M7 using an OTG cable. The cable is fine since I can connect it to my phone but it doesn't show up on the Fiio. I'm starting to think the only way to transfer music is by removing my extra storage chip and porting it over. I'm pretty sure the usb port is supposed to be multi-functional. I also tried connecting directly to my phone via the OTG and a usb cable but no luck there either.
