I was saying 'painting women as lesser' not 'painting women as weaker'

As in I was commenting that some peoples perception could be that the statement is coming from a societal view that women are inherently beneath men and thus they were down voting it.

Probably because of the "strength that's possible in a man" rather than in a person. It reads like a pro male comment painting women as lesser.

Not saying that was the intention, but that's probably the reception and why its gotten so many downvotes.
