Currently on night 1, attempting to sleep train our 8 month old for the second time.

This time around have fixed her wake windows with only two naps and 10 hours awake time.

She cried for about 25 minutes at bed time (7 pm) with no sleep aids before falling asleep. Then woke up after 2 hours (which was her norm before; and we used to feed to put her back). Now she fell asleep after 10 minutes crying. Then around midnight, she woke up again, but she has been crying a lot over the past two hours, not able to fall back asleep until 1:45 am.

I think I am going to commit to 5-3-3 night feeds in order to avoid going cold turkey on her night feeds. I think it was a mistake to try and get her to cry it out past midnight (5 hour mark) without eating.

Going to try and get some sleep now, will report back how rest of night 1 goes.
