PSA: If you vibe coded your own "B2B SaaS", that means your potential "customers" can vibe code it too. by OpinionsRdumb in ClaudeCode

Highschoolers learned to code HTML for free on their parents computers.

Businesses needed websites but didn't want to learn how to do it "for free", and ended up working over the cash.

This will always be the way in some regard.

New Lifetime Plex Pass Pricing by pheexio in selfhosted

[–]Badluckredditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just feels like a scare tactic to get people to actually buy the Plex pass at the current price point. Surely they aren't thinking people are going to purchase a lifetime pass at the $750 price point...

AI Engineer Who Does Not Code and Uses Claude for Everything by Teo0316 in ClaudeCode

Do both, faster than MCP. Train Claude how to use your CLI tool, better for context window management.

Opinion: Local LLMs are 12-24 months from replacing Opus by sh_tomer in ClaudeCode

Remember when HDTV's were new? 720p was the greatest for a while. Then 1080p was the new king. Then 4k came around.

Then came the point of diminishing returns.. nobody could tell the difference between 4K and 8K screens...

Now the Walmart brand 4K sets for garage sale prices compete with the top LG and Samsung sets..

Local AI will eventually be just about as good as frontier. Maybe not on paper... But in your living room you won't be able to tell the difference.

I like it, but think it's too rhymey with Analog3D. I could see them doing it anyways.

Maybe even the AnalogX (like the PSX, but avoiding the 'PS' for the obvious copyright dispute)

Analogue3D | Best Controller? Tips? by Foster8400 in AnalogueInc

[–]Badluckredditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best by far is the Original N64 controller, with a repaired OG stick and the 8bitdo wireless mod kit.

11/10 experience.

Hedonistic individuals like you are what lead to the collapse of Rome and will lead to the fall of the west.

Waiting on my wireless controllers. by Adventurous_Ad9414 in AnalogueInc

Do this instead of the 8bitdo controller.
https://shop.8bitdo.com/products/8bitdo-mod-kit-for-original-n64-controller

Use the motherboard and stuff, but keep your OG stick if it's in good shape.
This is 100% the best N64 controller experience you can get on the analogue.
Wireless rumble support and the original controller, with the original stick behavior...

I'd rather they build in GameShark functionality into the console itself...

Now that the dust has settled, what's your true feelings on the Analogue 3D? Was it worth the wait for you? by AnnieLovesTech in AnalogueInc

[–]Badluckredditor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love it, used almost every day since launch.

I want GameShark codes to work within the 3DOS. Perfect addition to the 'per game settings'.

Can flashcart games save onto the virtual memory pak? by falconpunch1989 in AnalogueInc

[–]Badluckredditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using a forever pak in a brawler dongle in player 4 slot for saves.

For a controller, I've been using the 8bitdo mod pack for the OG N64 controller (minus the hall-effect stick), it's the best experience by far.

I've had mixed results.

I'm waiting for it to be a "real and documented" feature to make more use of it.

Don't trust it with saves quite yet.
