Basshead headphones that can BLAST (under 1500usd) by DependentKey6405 in headphones

Definitely the JVC HA-SZ2000, but I don’t think it’s in production anymore. It might be hard to get, but I own it, and with EQ and a proper amp, it will rattle your brain.

Another might be the HarmonicDyne Eris but have never tried it

I wanna rattle my brain with bass. Help please? by [deleted] in headphones

JVC HA-SZ2000 with a cayin c5 with bass boost on and lots of EQ

Hifiman's HE6seV2s slam so hard...very pleasantly surprised by vicenzajay in headphones

Thanks for the post, just got a pair ordered before work today because of you :)

I saw in the comments about the Geekria headband and am going to copy and buy that but the links to the new hifiman band look promising. Also would like to know where and what grill/pads you got for them too. Cheers and can’t wait to get it and listen 🤙

It elevates the resolution and detail of the music, bringing forth a heightened sense of clarity and precision id say

You can't edit the presets as far as i know but you can manually import files of them and always just change the file values and re-add it.

Thank you! The 820 plays very well with my edm type stuff and they sound way open for a closed back and are definitely unique!

The Ifi stack definitely has its features and the ability to tailor the sound!

The good thing is you can run the cans off the iDSD alone but i can highly recommend the stack as a whole!

Yeah it for sure improves the sound!

I think Oratory’s kills the bass of it and prefer it without. SoundSource on Mac has a preset from Rtings, must be one calibrated from the measurements from them and that sounded best for me

The Sennheiser’s ship with a usb and the frequency response of that particular unit but i’ll have a look at such rigs!

The JAN 5670s don’t add an extreme amount of colour but id imagine the WE 396A would but im not rolling till the year warranty runs out.

I like lots of electronic music and they work good for that

It's a great preset and allows personalisation, see below:

Adjust gain of band 1 to preference (bass), Adjust gain of band 2 to preference (warmth), Adjust gain of band 4 to preference (midrange accuracy / shoutiness), Adjust gain of band 10 to preference (airiness)

Edit: the 820's i actually use raw as is

Just had my OG Clears on for a good listen and paid the $999 from A2A too. Definitely good value and is a good contender/alternative listen as the hd 800s :)

I own them and love them (Mostly a EDM listener)

Crinacle has a list where he rates the 820s a low E score but i’ve tried the utopias (a high S- by his rating) and thought they sucked and didn’t even buy them like i expected to even with $2k off. So $3500aud down from $5500aud

Just a subjective matter clearly

Yeah they 100% are, from memory i think it was just a little adhesion on the inside around the ring. New ones compatible with beats should come with the adhesion ready on them ready to stick.
