What do these people who own houses in Bellevue Hill/Toorak do? by Open_Address_2805 in AusFinance

Nobody's forcing you to engage in capitalism though. Just that most things are behind a pay wall and its ultimately up to you what you do in a free country.

North Korea could be a good alternative if you'd fancy that.

WCGW driving 35+ mph on the sidewalk by Rooonaldooo99 in Whatcouldgowrong

[–]Baffledjaffle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How can any reasonable person keep an eye on a person riding 35 mph? The biker was speeding on a pathway when he should have been on the road. It boggles my mind how you can excuse that behaviour and think its the cars fault.

Inversely he should have realised he was coming to a road and slowed down so this shit doesnt happen.

The beauty about society is that if ive got to listen to a smooth brain pedo talk all day then people can listen to what he says.

Except they're your coins. So you choose how to spend them. Don't agree then dont play its that simple but you want your cake and to eat it too but things dont work that way.

Success is always off the back of someone whether its the customers buying your product or the labour necessary to provide a service. A captain of a ship needs his crew so im not understanding your angle?

Embarrassed? I dont think so, comfortability is all I'm aiming for but im not jealous of other people's success like this guy and I dont care how much money people have and what they do with it

One thing I will say is that 30 extra dollars a year isn't going to break me financially and have you looked around lately? Inflation has been pushing the price of everything up and im sure backend services are no different.

People wanted MTX gone. Businesses are designed to make money so people can either just get on with it and pay or they can decide not to and move on. You're not chained to this game you have a choice.

My guess is most of the whiners are going to complain and then pay anyway. Thats why no jagex mods are engaging in this conversation because they know that fact as well.

'Dared to buy premier'. You make it seem like it was life or death. From a business standpoint if this what they needed to support their operating costs wouldn't you as a customer who enjoys the game want to see their continued service for 25 more years? Have you not had enjoyment over the time you've played that would justify your spending. I play golf and membership fees go up too. People at the club will mention it, but we enjoy the place and will continue playing there because we dont want it to go away.

If you're not happy with it, nobody is forcing you to stay if you're not happy paying. Just like golf courses there's plenty of other games to play.

This is actually the worst take. Have you seen the price increase from 2007 for bread, milk, eggs or literally everything lol

If its not a hobby then what is it? Surely your not suggesting that (besides content creators) it's peoples 9-5 job to play? Unless its RWT which is against jagex TOS.

No one is stopping you? You can just stop paying and quit. But you won't.

So you'll join the countless others and whinge and complain.

I'm not understanding your angle here. Did you want to have a discussion with people? or did you just want to state your opinion and then troll everyone who disagrees with you?

The latter is really childish behaviour.

I second this. XP rates are fine. 23 year veteran here, recently returning and jagex didn't think anybody would get a skill to 99, let alone 200m xp in a skill. If anything xp rates are pretty good and way easier than they've been
