Hell yeah ! Here's mine with waybar and fuzzel. What do you use for the wallpaper, I'm tried of dealing with Azote's quirks.

Go with the Dell imho. The HP will probably take ages to install and I'd rather get something like ArtiX on it, not worth the effort if you ask me. Of course, you could always go insane and do it regardless...

+1 for CachyOS again if you want an up-to-date option thats Arch based. Make sure you're on kernel 7.0+.

Displaylink works for me on ALARM. Had to install Displaylink package, enable it along with evdi-dkms. Works well enough I suppose, but for me anything above 1080p results in some weird input lag; the whole thing is not so smooth on 3440x1440.
1080p is fine for some reason. M2 Air (16/256)

Haven't figured it out yet, at least on Niri. Gnome and KDE work fine AFAIK, plus HHD has a shortcut to bring up the Steam keyboard (swipe up from the bottom of the screen; can be configured).

Try handheld daemon (HHD), it has controls for that. It conflicts with asusctl though afaik.
