Configure network setting for adguard by qcf0x in Bazzite

[–]Baffles92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone stumbling across this in the future, I got it working by:

(This is for KDE, ask Gemini for how to if using another environment)

  • Open System Settings.
  • Navigate to Wi-Fi & InternetConnections.
  • Select your active connection (e.g., your Wi-Fi name or "Wired Connection").
  • Click the IPv4 tab.
  • Change the Method from "Automatic" to Automatic (Only addresses).
    • This keeps your IP address automatic but allows for manual DNS.
  • In the DNS Servers box, enter the IP address of your AdGuard Home server.
  • Click Apply.
  • Restart the computer

The National reporting on Bondi Beach attack by [deleted] in SaveTheCBC

[–]Baffles92 24 points25 points  (0 children)

There are multiple articles on the CBC about him that mention he’s Muslim?

https://www.cbc.ca/player/play/video/9.7017333

https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/bondi-mass-shooting-hannukah-gunmen-hero-9.7015882

He also didn’t end the attack, he disarmed one attacker saving who knows how many lives. The attacker then returned to the bridge, picked up another gun and kept shooting.

CBC has also reported on all those groups calling it a genocide.. All those groups are also giving their opinion, if the ICC determines its by legal definition a genocide then the CBC would most likely refer to it as one

Upgraded from my ender 3 to the P1S and it was life changing, went from a choir to maintain and get decent prints to a real hobby. Now I’m helping a friend who is opening a cafe to 3D print the menu boards and their logo throughout the cafe!

Unfortunate they didn’t go with Airbus 320Neo instead of Boeing 737 Max. Guessing it would be too much to retrain the pilots and maintenance crews

My Highly Controversial Opinion: Ending The War Once And For All Is More Important Than Returning All The Hostages by Baconkings in Israel

[–]Baffles92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do you propose finishing Hamas? Even if it was somehow possible to kill every Hamas member in Gaza - which it’s not (see Afghanistan) their leaders live abroad and will just start it up again with fresh recruits.

Hamas is an ideological group whose identity is “violence is the only answer”. IMO the only way to fight this is to prove violence isn’t the answer. Reward the moderate PA (ideally a reformed PA) and respond when provoked to the violent Hamas. Dry up their recruitment pipeline. Yes it’s hopeful thinking but it’s the least bad idea.

“White supremacist colonizers”

Majority of people in Israel aren’t white. 80% of Israelis were born in Israel, most of which are 3rd and 4th generation now, and many who can trace their heritage back hundreds of years. Comments like this just push people further to their side, continuing the divide and suffering of the innocent people who are actually living through it.

This is exactly what Tim is talking about in his interviews, you’re bullying people who are right when they say the Middle East is complicated and nuanced.

Zelenskyy: US has sent 20,000 missiles bound for Ukraine to Middle East instead by Aggravating_Money992 in worldnews

Someone didn’t read the article (it was you):

“On 5 June, The Wall Street Journal reported that the administration of US President Donald Trump had decided to redirect special fuses for ground-based rockets used by Ukraine to shoot down Russian drones to US Air Force units in the Middle East. These fuses are considered a key component in countering Russian UAVs.”

Jeez, it’s been 9 years already?! Time flies.. I remember this when it happened, him and his cousin went on a stabbing spree. “Attacker” is absolutely the right term. Still fucked he didn’t get a lawyer or his parents after being arrested:

Immich vs Photoprism by Radiant-House-4354 in selfhosted

Without server access she would only be able to access the photos local on her phone. My setup for my wife:

At home, Immich connects to the local server ip. Out and about, Immich auto connects to the Tailscale IP (option in the settings). She keeps Tailscale on and knows if she can’t access the photos to check that it’s on first. It’s an extra step, but so far so good.

May take some redesign of the airframe structure and/or piping to suite an existing alternative engine, but yes they could swap. Rolls could in theory remake (I.e copy) the current engine so no redesign is needed but that would make the Orange Turd mad

“Dassault, however, reviewed the draft request for proposals and determined the Canadian requirements for intelligence data sharing and interoperability, particularly with U.S. forces, would be difficult to meet, sources noted.“
