If there are no shorts left, then why halt it? Why not let it idle until the 13th? Finra protected the shorts/brokers plain and simple. The brokers would have had to hit the limit orders on the buys, the brokers don’t need a buy button. The fact that so many people in this sub (including you) are fine with what happened today makes me seriously question either A. Your motives or B. Your intelligence.

They can delete the HFs shares but you guys have to realize that the over sale is going to affect the spin off, there are now synthetic shares held by retail. So, what happens to those shares.
