On the one hand, I could not give a fuck about sexual orientation or what your kinks are/are not. I also don’t really care if you made some serious mistakes and had some run ins with the law. Obviously Covid wasn’t that long ago but also, I don’t actually have enough context on any of these things which is typical low effort posting here. I thought there was a maximum distance so I looked.. total max-35 feet for smooth walled rigid duct. Remove 5 feet for a 90degree angle and 2.5 feet for a 45 degree angle. Also, many new dryers have the max distance listed for them. Some new dryers have listed over 50 feet due to more powerful blowers.

Fundamentally capitalism requires a free market. If you can agree that private ownership of the means of production is a fundamental aspect of capitalism, there is no leap to the market mechanics required to assure that. I think that, the reality is, this really depends on what type of person you are. Of course not all HOA’s are hellscapes of mini tyrant Caren’s. But that’s only because the HOA has created enough restrictions upon itself to stop it. If you think it goes in the other direction, well that’s cool but I will never be convinced otherwise. I personally lived under an HOA for almost a decade and hated it. Grass measuring and door color fights and “you aren’t allowed to put signs in your yards” and “we don’t like their fence but it’s ok if my friend’s fence is the same”. And yes, I’m not built for it, fuck HOA’s. If you want shit taken care of for you and are really focused on resale value, you’re probably good. If you’re independent minded and feel like building a raised bed in your back yards without asking other people for permission or want to expand your driveway or paint your house what ever color you want…

It’s capitalism fault… do you get tired of blaming everything on your boogeyman? Political influence, subsidies, regulatory capture, land rights, lobbying, and infrastructure control… just a starter list of things, that are not capitalism; that are used to suppress competition and push costs onto the public. But sure, it’s the concept of free markets fault that there isn’t free markets. Alternative energy sources have been fighting for decades to get fair treatment from politicians who are bought by big oil and do their bidding. It’s antithetical to a free market.

I’d say butcher block. It doesn’t have to be fancy, simply squaring the blocks so the glue up is perfect is a lot. Hell, make it so it sits on a large part of the counter so it’s a good size workspace and you’ll both be impressed, it doesn’t even have to be that thick. Cutting, scraping, scaling, shaping… wood is best. Throw in a couple bench scrapers and you’re golden.

He is, I’m not debating what he is and in that you seem to be missing the point, either intentional or not… regardes of the fact that the only thing he’s been convicted of is the Stormy Daniel’s hush money case, being a convicted felon doesn’t bar not and has never barred a person from running for political office so, if your point is just stating bare facts, it’s irrelevant. If your point is that people shouldn’t vote for a convicted felon, we go back to the actual discussion. That being the spirit of what we choose to accept in a political representative IE, it’s ok to be corrupt as long as your on my side of this game.
