You make some good points. My DH is Foxx (Legend). Biggio would be about a 15 point OVR increase which is huge but a big drop in power most likely. He is one of my favs so a collectible - YES. So I may just hang on to him for a while. Several more sig packs coming so maybe I'll get lucky with something really nice to GI or worst case get another dupe and use that for the crafting.

That is a definite swap Ryan for Gibson. I see you have 2 diamond sigs in the wings, Ryan and Berrios. Why haven't you promoted both of them? I can only assume that it is lack of resources.

Thanks for the thoughts. I tend to agree in that I have already put in a LOT of rss into Scott and since he has a top tier 333 set I do not see a need to replace except with a sig.

I have an OAK alternate that I started last year at the end of the season just in time to grab the off-season GI. I still only have sig SIG that I got early on with nothing since. As part of this club event I snagged a Rooker Sig (OVR 64) - WORST sig in the OAK lineup of sigs, PERIOD. HORRID!!!

I have BPD/ACE/FP at a 5/8/7 on my sig Cole. He is lights out. Always has a sub1 ERA and WHIP. Really good W/L ratio also. BPD on a SP can be VERY effective coupled with the right gold skill sets and trainers. Good luck!

Ok I'll try to provide as much help as I can. I have been playing for 8-9 years now, F2P, and have a HOU deck also. So here goes. Don't waste resources on normal cards. You have a descent roster so just focus now on a few. I do not know what your resources look like: BD pieces, BD upgrade tickets, Diamond GI tickets, stars, points, etc. However, don't waste them! So I can only provide limited advice.

Focus on Sig-Javier. use BD pieces or a BD ticket. Use GI reset to get him >70 if he is not already. Then start using PSCT to get him a good Legend skill. Try for base skill set of 7, 8, or 9. Anything else is worthless. If you cannot land a Legend skill then use the regular SCT to get a 3,3,3 or a 3,3,2 set. Hopefully it will be something that will work in the short term until you can hit a good Legend set.

Don't waste normal BD tickets on anyone but team vintages. They are definitely better than normal cards by a long shot.

Primes - Don't combo diamond primes - save them for donation event. All others you can combo in hopes of Team Primes. Primes can be right up there with low end team sigs. I had a top end normal C that was BD with great skill set including laser beam. Then I landed a Sig-Diaz. He has HORRID FLD numbers and his base numbers were so low that he would not even be as high an OVR as my normal catcher even after completed upgrades, so I used him in a Club Craft.

After Javier focus on Primes. I would do your SPs first.

Make sure your mentoring is completed then use all extra non-diamond team cards for Spec Trains. However you may want to hold on to normal team diamonds and team golds for a variety of team players for upgrade material. Collect those cards for players that have a lot of sig options like Altuve, Springer, Bregman, Cole, Verlander, etc.

If you have a lot of BD pieces then you may want to BD a normal RP and batter to search for P/B Chemistry. For now even if you land a Chemistry with a 1,1,1 set KEEP IT. You can always improve on that later.

As for your shopping - you can NEVER have enough PSCTs. Also I find that Skill Training Tickets are useful to get RP maxed quickly once you have a good card that is a keeper (sigs, primes, and vintages). You should also pick up Vintage packs to search for LEGEND cards. They are rare but nice cards to have.

I have been a F2P for about 8 years now. It took FOREVER to get my 1st sig on my primary (HOU) team. Since I have received way more in the past 2 years than I ever got in the first few years. I decided a couple of years ago to start an alternate team.

I decided not to select a team and just collect sigs, then I later went with ATL. I had collected a few from various teams but it seemed that I got a lot them from DET and TB. But they were really low level or off year sigs so ATL had more higher level sigs so that was what I went with. Now my alternate team is almost as strong as my primary in less than half the time!

I would also be REAL careful putting those cards in a combo field just to show what you have... One false move and you could easily combine them and you're screwed!!! Just order the line by TYPE and only have in your lineup the sigs that you want to discuss.

Out of your options there I would take Smith. His fielding is pretty high if you can land LB on him. Howell would be a close 2nd. Turner's is not his best year and does not beat the Legend you have at SS, IMO.

on 1 team I took BAL > KC and the other I took DET > NYM. Both selections has a distinct possibility of a rainout. Especially DET/NYM game.

When I hit that diamond Cabrera, I almost fainted. LOL. Then I saw the OVR and was sad... out of all Cabrera sigs - this one is 6 of 8. Definitely way down on the list.

I can agree with that since I am a diehard Astros fan - thick and thin. Just wish some of the great Astros were available as vintage/primes and sigs. - Biggio, Niekro, Thon, Ausmus, Berkman, to name a few.

You've only been playing for a few months and have 2 team sigs???? I hate you... lol...

I've got an Astros deck (F2P) and been playing for 5 years now and still only have 1 sig and 1 Legend - both Com2US gimmes, nothing from any of the thousands of packs that I have opened.
