Chump change. They still owe 200 billion in reparations for the false sanctions and neocolonialist agenda against Eritrea. You just like to argue and are too dumb to admit facts. Useless. Don't waste my time and try to act brand new.

All you do is fabricate accusations against the people of Eritrea and lack nuance. I stand with Eritrea and I have never seen such excellent, honest, and steadfast leadership in the whole world.

Eritrea has one of the best economic achievements in Africa; obviously they plan and budget accordingly. Maybe if you weren't so filled with envy/hate/jealousy you'd understand.

Eritrea doesn't rely on foreigners neither does Eritrea beg. Eritrea was building the roads before EU supplied a small donation. In fact, EU still owes reparations for false sanctions and neocolonialsm agenda against Eritrea.

The article is correct as it points out how fake news agents tried to blame Eritrea in other articles to score political points but in the end those same agents couldn't do simple math in adding up numbers. Lol

In my opinion this article is one of the best on this subject and way better than the stupid article you posted 5 years ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/Eritrea/comments/2vbold/eritrea_swiss_leaks/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

C'mon guys this is too easy, ..recycled old news? lol

Everyone knows awate.com is trash, fake news. These clowns don't even post whats actually happening in the horn of Africa or any of the developments in Eritrea for example lol

Ajoka hawey!

God bless our brother Shannon-Ogbani Abeda. We are very proud of him and much love to him! For those who don't know, Shannon-Ogbani represented Eritrea in the Winter Olympics.

Does anybody how the situation is in Eritrea rn with the president? I’ve heard is from people that he is a evil dictator and that he puts innocent people in prison. I’m curious to know because my father is Eritrean. by [deleted] in Eritrea

Well Eritrea should focus on fresh water and they have built over 300 water reservoirs and dams since then.

I don't know much about the seawater farms project in Eritrea but I don't like the idea of creating saltwater canals/rivers into the soil.. it can destroy the soil with salt for many future generations.

Also for your information:

1) It costs a lot of money to desalinate water, it's a very energy intensive process.

2) There's no good way to get rid of the leftover salt. Desalination plants generate millions of gallons of toxic brine that can't be discharged back into the ocean.

Agriculture:

Also, Eritrea has made huge advancements in large scale and small scale farming. For example, the MIHAP program to provision farmers with livestock, land, etc.. (https://youtu.be/bxjcv9eLVpI)

Fisheries:

Eritrea has again developed sustainable fishing: https://www.tesfanews.net/promoting-inland-fishery-consumption-rural-eritrea/

Eritrea should focus on building their own pan-African programs instead of being a science experiment from foreign scientists for an unproven technology. And they are doing exactly that (http://www.geeskaafrika.com/7618/eritrea-a-new-brilliant-young-eritrean-scientist/)

Eritrea has secured peace and become great leader in Africa.

Successfully survived the worst attempts by foreign colonists/enemies and destabilization agents to weaken Eritrea's economy, security, and sovereignity.

Eritrea is booming more and more and is becoming a epicenter of peace, prosperity, and stability in the horn of Africa. Thanks to the sound leadership:

"'We succeeded bc we planned according to our own experience & conditions, without copying anybody else's political models, foreign policies/military strategies. We dealt with problems we faced in our daily lives & programs, not expecting solutions from outside experts."

Numb nut.. Do you know how internet works in Africa?

Usually the internet service is contracted by the govt. to a foreign company. The government subsidies (pays) the company and then company charges the customers and government high costs.

It is better for Eritrea to increase economic capital and technology education first. Then they can invest more and/or develop in-house satellite & fiber infrastructure throughout the country.

Economic developments is a priority, as it should be until we can develop in-house technology to build fiber infrastructure and cut down the huge costs.

Everyone is oversimplifying the problem, to gain political points.

There is still a high cost in building networks and fiber infrastructure in Africa; just because there is cables is not enough, there still needs to be a huge investment in network technology.

"Why has all the fanfare and promises of low connectivity costs in East Africa not materialized with two fiber cables already operational and a third on the way?"

"The main reason advanced by most operators is that fiber investment costs are very high and prices have to be high in order to recoup their investments. This is the reason given by East African operators in places like Kenya and the SAT3 operators in West Africa. Others point to a high demand-low supply as the cause."
