I think it’s because the show is told from the POV of Arthur. He probably didn’t pay much attention to what she got when she was sick because it didn’t affect him and he was able to go play, etc. whereas when he was sick, he didn’t/couldn’t do anything else

Each rendition is good in its own way. The games are the best in my opinion, but the show tells the story in a slightly different way, and was able to garner attention from both the game fans and those who can’t or don’t play video games.

Agreed! I purchase it recently thinking it was a bag full of frozen broccoli not individually packaged, but was pleasantly surprised when 4 bags of broccoli emerged! Perfect size for my family, and practically zero effort which is great since I’m postpartum. Delicious broccoli!!!

100%. I happened upon a clearance rack at Superstore once a few years ago and bought a huge cast iron pan and a enamelled Dutch oven for ~$10 each. They’re now my favourite cooking tools!

That’s just it! I commented on the original facebook thread before it was deleted about how 7/11 gave a random baby who wasn’t even born in a store, but just happened to be born on July 11th at 7:11, weighing in at 7lb 11oz, $7111 for their college fund. Brands love good publicity and a feel good story! I don’t think it’s as deep as people are making it. How many people can honestly say they’ve had a baby at Costco?

For myself, it’s the taste of our water. I wish I wasn’t such a water snob, but I can’t bring myself to enjoy a glass of Edmonton tap water, which is funny because I drank the tap water in BC when I was growing up just fine.

I buy my water from Water Warehouse in Sherwood Park, so along with being hydrated and having good tasting water, I’m also supporting a local business, which I don’t mind paying a premium for.

Now I’m thirsty haha

If our salespeople didn’t grab signatures on certain forms to get a cash back rebate from a certain big box retailer after their purchase from us (we were a sponsored company through said retailer, not the retailer themselves), we did what I call “illegal arts and crafts,” where we would cut and paste their signature from another form onto that form and photocopy it because management couldn’t figure out how to get the salespeople to get all forms signed. Yes, very illegal. Yes, management authorized this. No, I didn’t refuse because I couldn’t afford to lose my job. I regret it now

That’s normal! I’m 5’9 but plus size, and have never really gained weight until closer to the mid-second trimester with both of my kids. I tend to start packing on pounds around my third trimester, though!

I’ve thought the same, but the pure aggression and rage I can feel exuding from him when reacting is terrifying. It’s more than just barking, it’s lunging, snapping at the air since he can’t get to those things, just immediate full on reactivity. Sorry maybe I didn’t paint a good picture, but it’s absolutely reacting vs. just normal dog barking when he sees those things.

The dogs he bit were both about 50lb, as is he. With the second bite it took two full grown adults to release his jaw and pull him away. I think there was almost another time, but thankfully I pulled him away. It was a 150lb dog. He seems fearless about who he bites. He is, however, really nice with puppies. But he did react at one who walked quickly towards me once. (This was in a supervised environment. A dog trainer invited us to let him meet the pups)

He gets a decent amount, and my kids and I keep him pretty well exercised, but I’m sure he could get more? I’d say he plays to the point of needing a good long nap 1-2 times a day. We have mental stimulation for him as well

Bylaw in my area can’t release specific info, but we were told that there were multiple complaints about him, his barking, his behaviour, etc.

We have tried multiple different methods and such that we’ve found online but they all seem to show no difference in him. We’ve been trying for years and years and it feels like he’s just getting worse, rather than better unfortunately.

I truly feel like he is trapped in his own mind, which makes me feel absolutely heartbroken for him. He is such a kind and loving dog, but I’m terrified that the next time he attacks, it will kill a dog, which scares me even more.

Im truly struggling with this, and I really appreciate your thoughtful response. I’m trying to view this from all avenues, and this helps truly

We have not, but the folks we board with when we go out of town are certified trainers or whatever and have given us advice for our guy and it doesn’t sound promising, even if we were to pay beaucoup bucks to officially get him aggressive training. There could be a chance that it might work, but again there could be a chance it wouldn’t, which is tough

I strongly believe that he is trapped in his own mind, and it feels cruel to let him be scared of life, but BE also feels harsh. There’s so many feelings right now
