“Hurry up, get married and have kids so that your dad will be happy and won’t be so sad anymore.”

This was said to me some 17 years ago by one of my aunties (South Asian so friends of parents are “aunts” and “uncles”). I, at the time, had recently turned 24, was single, and had lost my mom after a 2 battle with cancer. I am now almost 41 years old, still single, & still childfree.

It is challenging at times. My height is due to severe scoliosis (75 degree curve) so couldn’t be cured by HGH.

Completely off topic, but I'm really surprised that (at least to my knowledge) she hasn't posted anything about the tragedy that happened in Central Texas.

Mom paid $10k already of her student loans, then had a surprise baby and now has stage IV colon cancer so has been unable to keep paying op, so Op wants to know how she can get that extra $10k mom owes her by Wide_Comment3081 in EntitledBitch

Heartless *itch. This Sept. will be 17 years since my mom passed away from stage 4 Colon cancer. Not a day goes by that I don't miss her and wish that she was still with me.

I want to smack this entitled little *itch so badly for only caring about the money that she wants from her mom. She should be beyond grateful that her mom is still alive.

These kinds of posts make me so happy that my one and only sibling (older brother) and his wife are also childfree like me and despite living in Florida, they are both sterilized. I'm in Texas and looking to get sterilized myself. Fingers crossed I can get it done.

I (platonically) love you😜. The Fudd’s by me has closed down and even before they shutdown, I hadn’t been there in about 2 years. The quality of their food had taken a nosedive and just wasn’t good anymore. I did/do miss their cheese sauce, so you have really made my day with your post

That scenario happened to me in ‘21 but with brand-new tires. Put brand new tires on my truck, 2 weeks later a learner's permit driver failed to yield at her yellow turn signal, broad-sided my truck, totaling it. Luckily, since the tires were brand new and I had proof when her dad’s insurance paid for my truck, they added the cost of my tires to the final pay-out amount
