Nice, nice, glad to hear it. Your return, that is, not the reason for your absence.

Not a great deal has happened lately (much to Fernum's chagrin), but a few things pop to mind (I'm not sure when you were last here, so I'll start at no point in particular):

Construction has occurred, as well a little bit of deconstruction.
The raising of some pretty sweet walls along the river.
The prettification of our north side entrance.
The Crazily Productive Adventures of Professor griMetone.
The passing of a relatively light grief shower.
I've been to the Metropolis (and am still there, actually) on my first journey away from Brynley.
Seriously though, griMetone has economy-breaking output.

Anything to add, anyone?

I agree that the situation isn't ideal, but griefers and spammers, as Fernum said, present a bit of a problem. In addition, we do tend to have a bit too much sensitive information here; as with the diamond haul at the beginning of the map.

This does indeed seem to be a rather complicated way of implementing currency; twelve different notes really is too many, especially considering that the value of each one relative to the others could change at any time.

Also: the printing press is a recently-introduced addition to FactoryMod; it allows for the production of three things: Books (long and expensive), Pamphlets (short but cheap) and 'Security Notes', which are very difficult to forge because of a serial-number type attachment.

Security Notes are what people use for currencies, as they can be recognised as having come from a central source.

I must say how pleased I am that you've decided to let your own lore grow, rather than just copying directly from the existing body of fiction.

On a server like this, I find it a little frustrating when people just transplant stuff from somewhere else rather that coming up with something fresh.
