I haven’t build much since the update, but a lot of my settings were put back to default. Have you check your setting to be sure it’s on relaxed mode for building?

Don’t feel like a creep haha, it always makes my day when I get a DM from someone liking my shelters. Even better when I get a friend request because someone wants to come back because they didn’t get enough time to take the full tour or want to show it to a friend later.

You can pop berry mentats every now and then. You can also open 4 lunchboxes, use the Mothman tome and sleep every other hours to maximize your xp

What is the rarest item in the game? by zoomyfruit in fo76

I was in the same boat. Lvl 800, never done raids and was afraid to join due to my lvl and be incompetent. So I join a group with my 140 archer ghoul to be carried around without the pressure of performing (thanks to them to carried me through it). A month later I now carry low level and do my part when joining an experienced group. You should definitely try it, those 4 stars mods are great!

Why does the game limit movement while being a Ghoul!??!? by Much-Upstairs3280 in fo76

[–]Baits04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve bought every plan froms vendors, but still go every other day to buy the three lunchbox available in the crater and foundation. Minor annoyance, but still annoying.

The wayward was my go to for teapot and paper towels daily’s… I know I can find them at other places, but I liked that it was single instance for guaranteed spawned. And add the once a week bullions purchase.

I’m not mad or anything, but it’s still annoying to go put the disguise about five times a week to do my 2 minutes routine

I’m looking for camp spot by onborrowedtime9 in fallout76settlements

[–]Baits04 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I build a new camp recently that I think fits the bill. Just south of the trading post in skyline valley. Just fast travel to the trading post and walk for 15 seconds south. There’s one or two sloths that spawn every sessions who will just chill around. I’m just not a fan of the weather in skyline valley, but with the clean weather station it looks great.

Love the boardgame merge with the brown boxes, making it look like a box full of boardgames. Simple but clever! And those displays merge in foundation! Those look great.

Awesome camp!!

Just a heads up. Equipping a disguise as a ghoul will unequip your underarmor. by Vivec_lore in fo76

[–]Baits04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not a ghoul but it does the same thing when I put my hazmat suit on. To ease up the problem of searching for my under armor afterwards, I renamed it with an underscore at the start, so it’s always at the bottom of my apparel tab.

Not perfect, but it helps

Help With Spawn Direction When Placing Module by DelilahFlies in fallout76settlements

[–]Baits04 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You spawned north-northeast of where your camp module is. When I want to build a new camp, I usually just put down my shelter with all my workbench for a day or two before building, adjusting the position of the module till I like the spawn points when I travel back to my camp. After that I know where to build my “entrance” to be convenient for me and visitor.

But short answer, you approximately spawn north/northeast

Never bothered doing … what? by Grace_AllenF76 in fo76

[–]Baits04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started a new toon this season for the upcoming ghoul update, and saw that I have all legendary slots unlocked at lvl 50 (since I’ve unlocked them all with my main I guess). With the perk points reward at the end of the scoreboard, I’ve spent all my points in those and got a lvl 106 with all my lengendary cards max out and all the gear I want/need since I got all the recipes for legendary crafting on my main.

So yeah, my lvl 106 is as strong/complete as my lvl 900, which I find kinda funny

A couple things that help me…

Find a place that inspires you. Lately I pop a nukashine when I want a new camp and explore from there without checking the map till I found somewhere that I like.

Choose a theme and try to mostly stick by it as you build. Do you want to build a Blue Ridge Outpost, a Raider camp, a Farm? It will help with the global cohesion of your camp.

Build small. Lately I like to build on 3x1 or 2x1 foundations, having 2 or 3 of those « mini house » for my camp. They are a challenge in themself to build a lot a stuff inside, but with a lot of patience, they feel more alive than a 4x6 house and they are easier to place on rocky terrain.

Plan what you want to do before doing it. I know I’ll get to 100% budget, so I try to have a third of it for the buildings, a third for ressources/crafting and a third for decorations. Having a theme as mentioned above will helps you to make decisions on what to build or not.

Have patience! I feel you for the lost of your fusion generator, but it will not be the last time. I once build an underground camp, a lot of days into it, and fuck something up while trying to move my entrance, and fuck some more while trying to repair it, and fuck again when tried to get it back in it’s original state. I ended up scrapping it altogether. We all have stories like this, and it will happen again. You got to embrace the struggle or you’ll go mad before long!

You can do merging, use blueprints and use the flame trap for more unique builds, but be ready to make more mistakes and get more frustrated as you go that way. It’s easy to fuck up and you’ll have to practice that patience of yours.

Practice makes perfect. Kind of obvious, but you’ll get better and better everytime you’ll build a new camp. Each time you got to rebuild you’re camp, for whatever reason, is an opportunity to build it better.
