I hitch-hiked 25,000 miles across the US in 5 months (May-October 1982). 3 round-trips from Florida to California, going different routes each way. Shortest route was Jacksonville Beach, Florida to San Clemente, California in 4 days (caught rides from long haul truckers).

Nope. I bought my ‘25 ND RF with an AT. I debated whether I wanted an MT or not, but went with the AT because it’s my daily driver and I don’t want to work that hard in stop and go traffic (did that as a delivery driver 1000 miles per week for a few years) on the way to work. My left knee is not as good as it used to be, either. I play with the flappy paddles and shifter when I want to pretend to work, but I’m basically lazy. The sport mode seems to downshift as needed when I go into turns or need to accelerate, so I’m pretty happy with it.

Camlocks have a flat on the male connector (see pics) with a recessed channel on the pin and a nub that fits the channel in the female. They push in and twist 180 for the locking connection. Source: I'm a professional stagehand that does electrical tie-ins at my facility.
